Ruby (Lander) Skufca, 87, a resident of Escanaba, passed away at OSF St. Francis Hospital in Escanaba, December 24, 2016 after a brief stay. She was born November 26, 1929, in Calumet, Michigan, a daughter of the late William and Retta Lander. She attended the local schools and graduated from Calumet High School.
She was preceded in death by her husband Edward Skufca, parents, a brother Lloyd Lander & a sister Luella (Lander) Cox.

Friends may call at the Erickson-Crowley Funeral Home on Wednesday, December 28, 2016 from 10:00 A.M. to noon with a funeral service to follow.
She was a resident of Calumet until her move to Escanaba in August of 1996. Ruby, her husband Edward (Stan) and brother-in-law Frank (Bimbo) Skufca owned and operated Skufca Restaurant in Calumet for 30 years retiring in 1982.
Ruby enjoyed spending time with family and friends playing cards and board games. Her passion was watching her son and grandson in all of the sporting events throughout the years.
On August 11, 1951 she married Edward (Stan) Skufca in Calumet.
