Obituary for Raymond Donald Wenetpalo

November 22, 2014

Raymond Donald Wenetpalo, 74, of Calumet passed away on Saturday in Marquette.

Raymond was born on December 4, 1939 to the late Gus and Alma (Tikkanen) Wenetpalo, in Detroit. He attended and graduated from the local Calumet schools in 1958.

He was a Surveyor in Redford for 12 years, and later went on to work at The Ford Motor Company in Detroit as an assembly line painter and worker, up until his retirement in 2000. In 2008, Raymond moved back to Calumet.

Raymond loved 4 wheeling and was an avid Redwings, Tigers, and Lions Fan.

He is preceded in death by his parents.

And is survived by:
His son: Blake Stone, of Detroit
Brother: Ken (Barb) Wenetpalo, of Calumet
Two sisters: Janet (Ed) Rudzinski, of Canton, MI; and Sandra (Bob) Johnson, of Florida
